I am haplogroup R-CTS241 and my last name is Hargis. My paternal and maternal families settled in southeastern Kentucky. It appears that R-CTS241 descended from R-M269, Niall of the Nine Hostages, (Ui Neill Dynasty), a ruler in northern Ireland and Scotland. The Ui Neill dynasty ruled Ireland from the 7th to the 11th century, C.E.
